Are your characters based on real people?

Some of them are.  Other characters are completely made up.  The situations they get themselves into are sort of the same way.  A few situations have really happened, while others are complete fantasy, while yet others are how I think a given situation SHOULD have turned out.

What made you decide to do a webcomic?

It's an idea that I'd been playing with for years.  I wanted to find a way to show off my artwork, that would also allow me to tell stories.  It was either the comic or a cartoon.  Since I don't really have any ties to the animation industry, I figured that a comic would be the way to go.  I could do more in a lot less time.

Is the character of Steve you?

Sort of.  In a way all the characters are me.  They have bits and pieces of me in them.  But, the character Steve was modelled after myself.  So, I guess the answer is yes.

Do you have a real job, or is drawing the comic your real job?

I wish that drawing was my real job.  Unfortuately, drawing webcomics is not always a big money job.  I do have a real job too.  I work in a residential home for teenage boys.  And, in my free time, I draw Got Pride.
Are you really gay?
Yep.  Do you really think I'd say I was if I wasn't?

Who do you consider to be your Heroes?

This list gets longer, the more I think about it:

  *Claude.

*My mom's Dad.  He taught me that as long as you have love, you're okay.

*My Mom & Dad.  They taught me that no matter what, true love does exist, and you sometimes can actually find the love of your life.  And being supportive of me....always.

*My brother, for proving that little brothers sometimes actually know what they're talking about.  For loving me, and accepting everything about me, including Claude.

*Armistead Maupin, for not being afraid to address the issues that need addressing.  For creating Tales of the City, and its sequels, and writing some of the most loveable characters that I've ever read.  For Michael "Mouse" Tolliver.  And, for paving the way through his story telling for comics and literature that include characters of all sexualities.

*Last but not least is, Walt Disney.  The man took a mouse and created an empire that outlasted him, but still carries on his name.  For most of my life, I wanted to be Walt Disney.

If I send you a picture of one of your characters that I drew will you put it on the website?  Pretty please?  With Rainbows on top?
That's the first time I've had that request.  I would be more than happy to.  Use the link at the bottom to email it to me.  Then, I will add it to the extras page.  If I get enough, I might even do a whole fanart page.

I wanna write to you and tell you what I think of your comic. Is that okay?

That sounds awesome to me. I'm always looking for feedback, believe it or not. It's the only way I have of knowing if you like or hate a storyline, character, or anything else. At the bottom of each page, there is a picture that says Email Steve. Just drop me a line to let me know how I'm doing.

Have you thought about doing a Myspace for your comic?

It's something I'm considering. I haven't put a whole lot of thought into it. If the interest is there, then maybe. For now though, just the comic.
